I am an intensely self-motivated, product-minded software engineer. I own payment integrations and infrastructure, design backend architecture, and maintain cloud systems carrying real production load. I also lead work on LLM pipelines, RAG systems, and agentic AI. My deeper interests are in system design, database and query optimization, performance profiling, and the craft of mentoring engineers who want to go further.

I designed and built Watchdock, a full-stack observability and infrastructure monitoring platform, independently. One lightweight agent reports server health, Docker telemetry, nginx logs, application errors, and uptime from every environment into a single dashboard. An AI layer reads the stack trace and recent events, then tells you the likely root cause instead of dumping a wall of alerts. It runs in production, monitoring real infrastructure, and has processed over 25 million requests.

I've shipped and run integrations across seven distinct payment rails, from Stripe and Basis Theory to M-Pesa and direct bank APIs. When a Stripe manual capture fault was quietly leaking revenue, I diagnosed it and restored 100% automated processing, live today for hundreds of thousands of users across Kenya and Tanzania. I continue to maintain those integrations and ensure no downtime, no reconciliation headaches, and no cross-currency bugs.

Leadership hasn't slowed the craft down. I design and publish open source Python packages that other engineers install and depend on, proof that the systems thinking extends beyond any single job or team.
